Salem, MA. Hawthorne Hotel changes the flags on the face of its building each and every day, in alphabetical order, to recognize the member countries of the UN, and the States and Territories of the USA. This is one of the things we do to help all of us remember that we are part of a bigger place than the North Shore of Massachusetts.
I hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about the world because of our flag system. Perhaps you will look up some information each day about the featured places, to increase your knowledge and understanding?
